Insurance Requirements
Like the Boy Scouts, we have learned it is better
to “Be Prepared”, all around.
Our equipment rentals are handled somewhat differently than
we do sales as we do not rent COD. In order to rent equipment from
Gamka we need to have two documents in hand; an approved Credit application
and a Certificate of Insurance issued to Gamka. This is because we
do not do cash, check or credit card rentals, only Open Account rentals.
Past experience has taught us that rental durations are not always the
same as was expected at the outset: some are shorter and some are longer. Then
there is the issue of general public liability indemnification and
coverage against equipment loss. Like the Boy Scouts, we have learned
it is better to “Be Prepared”. Our practice is to
invoice rentals to credit worthy accounts with insurance. Our
credit application and insurance requirements can be downloaded directly

Gamka Sales Company is a distributor of construction supplies and equipment. Our own truck fleet services the state of New Jersey, metropolitan New York and Philadelphia from our 60,000 square foot warehouse, service and parts department and showroom in Edison, NJ. Under roof are more than 30,000 line items including light to medium equipment, construction chemicals, hardware, and supplies. We rent over 1,400 pieces of equipment. There are 9,000 parts in stock and our service department repairs what we sell and rent with factory trained technicians.
