  • INSIDE SALES
    • Our current full-time position: Inside Sales Rep

      Responsibilities would include:
      - Counter and telephones sales. 
      - Working with Outside Sales Team and coordinating specific requirements for materials and delivery to the customers.
      - Assist in customer training and demonstrating new products and equipment.

      Skills Required:
      - A desire to succeed and be passionate about your career.
      - Good communication, writing and presentation skills.
      - Sales ability & problem-solving ability.
      - Planning, organizational and time management.
      - Sense of personal responsibility - self-motivation.
      - Light computer knowledge is helpful – will train.

  • OUTSIDE SALES
    • Our current position: Outside Sales Rep

      You could make $50K, $70K or $100K IN YOUR FIRST YEAR with New Jersey’s leading, cutting edge, aggressive construction products distributor, Gamka Sales Co., Inc. in Edison.  With no cap on commissions, you decide your earning level! All it takes is hard work. How good are you?

      What else is there besides $$$$ potential? Medical benefits, 401K, mileage pay, and more. But WAIT! The bar is set high for the high price we pay. We don’t want just anyone to represent us, we only want high quality, dedicated, customer service first, early bird worm-getters that work late too. It is all about availability. You must answer the phone when it rings.  Look, Gamka deals with building contractors: they start early, work hard and often demand what some companies might call unreasonable. Gamka lives for these challenges. Succeeding is why we are thriving in a tough market.

      To prosper with us you need to expect a long day, have a really good sales personality, intelligence, strong organizational skills, heart, a big customer service ethic and a car for openers. You need to be passionate about your job. We will be there to back you with technical support, an established account base and leads. You will get a Blackberry and GPS, too. Do you have to know about every product we have to offer? NO, at least not at first. That would be ridiculous. You will need a good memory and a head to match items with applications because you won’t be able to get along on a gift of gab and by bringing donuts for very long. Our customers expect expertise after a short while and have a right to it. Smoke and mirrors have no place at Gamka.  Don’t expect to us to baby sit you, we won’t micro-manage after you get up to speed. Sales Professionals don't need it and that is what we want to hire. You will need to do call reports and expense reports and a weekly calendar in advance but that is pretty much it, after selling, of course.

      Once your customers know you know what you are doing, price objections will fade and orders flourish. Our prices are competitive but we believe that good application information, dependable and quick delivery and products that are tops have a value that we expect to get paid for.  We don’t need to practice, we are here to make profits, isn’t that the point? If we find ourselves mutually getting close to a decision, we will have you ride with a salesperson on a typical day.  We will require your signature on a Non-Compete agreement if you are the lucky one.

    • Good Drivers Wanted

      We want to interview you ONLY if you meet the following requirements:

      1) 3 YEARS MINIMUM DRIVING EXPERIENCE
      2) CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
      3) VALID NEW JERSEY DRIVER'S LICENSE
      4) ABILITY TO READ A MAP
      5) PASS A DOT DRUG TEST
      6) SPEAK, READ AND WRITE ENGLISH
      7) HAVE A SOCIAL SECURITY CARD
      8) YOU MUST PASS OUR DRIVING TEST 

      A Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement is a plus.

Gamka Sales Company is a distributor of construction supplies and equipment. Our own truck fleet services the state of New Jersey, metropolitan New York and Philadelphia from our 60,000 square foot warehouse, service and parts department and showroom in Edison, NJ. Under roof are more than 30,000 line items including light to medium equipment, construction chemicals, hardware, and supplies. We rent over 1,400 pieces of equipment. There are 9,000 parts in stock and our service department repairs what we sell and rent with factory trained technicians.
